Skating

Since the Ice Den opened in 1998, offering quality skating programs to our community has been a top priority.

Skating programs are designed to accommodate skaters of all levels, from beginners lacing up their skates for the first time, to competitive skaters preparing for international competitions.

Our nationally recognized Learn to Skate program offers sessions year round for all ages and abilities and is the perfect program to start your skating career.

Advanced skaters can sign up for daily freestyle sessions that provide hours of ice time each week for skater development.

The Ice Den Scottsdale is proud to be the home of the Coyotes Skating Club of Arizona.  Founded in 1975 as the Arizona Figure Skating Club, the organization updated their name when it joined the Ice Den community in 1998. Membership numbers average 465 skaters annually, making it one of the Top 5 clubs in the Pacific Coast section.

In addition to its talented membership, featuring skaters who compete on the local, regional, national and international levels, the club is most know for hosting Cactus Classic.  The prestigious skating competition is held annually in July and attracts skaters from throughout the country.
