Learn to Skate 2025


REGISTRATION FOR LTS WINTER SESSION #3

*Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration will close when capacity is reached. Classes not meeting size requirements may be cancelled or combined.

USFS membership fees expire annually on June 30.

All Skaters Participating in Learn to Skate, REGARDLESS of when 2023-2024 membership was purchased will be required to pay/renew an $19.00 mandatory non-refundable LTS USA Fee (Valid July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).

Registrations for returning members received after
10:00 a.m. Monday of Week #1 will incur a $25 late registration fee.

LEARN TO SKATE USA REGISTRATION

LTS USA

All skaters and participants are required to pay and renew the $19.00 mandatory Learn to Skate USA Membership Fee annually. Valid July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025.

Current members of a US Figure Skating Club, are required to purchase a Learn to Skate USA membership to participate in the Ice Den’s Learn to Skate classes.  USFS and Learn to Skate USA are two separate membership programs.

Level A Classes & Times


Level A / Pre-Hockey / Parent & Pups / Adult-Teen
45 Minute Classes

  • Snowplow Sam 1, 2, 3 (ages 4-5)
  • Basic 1, 2, 3 (ages 6 and up)
  • Pre-Hockey* 1, 2, 3 (ages 4 and up)
    *All skaters
    must be able to skate across the ice unassisted in hockey skates, forward & backward and glide on one foot.
  • Adult/Teen (ages 13 and up)
  • Parent & Pups: 2.5  - 5 years with an adult

New Parent + Pup Bundle
For any participants new to the Ice Den Scottsdale LTS Parent + Pup program.  Price includes one (1) x 45 minute class per week plus two LTS USA memberships.

ENROLLMENT LEVEL

Class size is limited and classes will sell-out.
Do not wait for evaluations to register.

Next session registered skater profiles will be
automatically updated based on skater progress
after current concludes.

Coaches will evaluate all skaters the first week of the next session and make the necessary level adjustments.

LTS PRE-HOCKEY 15 MINUTE POWERSKATING

Exclusively for Pre-Hockey 2 & 3 Skaters:



Safety Requirements & Guidelines

  • Skaters/spectators who are currently sick, recently sick, symptomatic or high-risk/vulnerable to illness: DO NOT come to the rink.
  • Do not bring valuables into the building. The Ice Dens are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Skaters are encouraged to bring own tissues and personal sanitized wipes/sanitizer.
  • Follow all posted signs and guidelines.
  • Enter the rink through the properly designated doors at main building entrance.
  • Participation by online registration in advance only.
  • Two (2) spectators recommended per skater. 
  • Spectating children/siblings should not be left unsupervised at any time.
