Team Competition

The Learn to Skate USA Team Competition is a solo event that creates team spirit, good sportsmanship and a fun, rewarding experience for all!

The event schedule will be emailed and posted: Saturday, March 27, 2021.

The Learn to Skate USA Team Competition 2021 will be conducted in accordance with the applicable rules of “US Figure Skating” as set forth in Learn to Skate USA Competition Manual. The competition is open to all Ice Den Scottsdale Skating Program Participants. Skaters must be registered in Session #2 Level B or C Learn to Skate Program and or qualified figure skaters that are members of the Coyotes Skating Club of Arizona or train with coaches from Ice Den Scottsdale. The competition levels consist of Basic 4 through Preliminary & Excel Pre- Preliminary – Excel Preliminary Plus. All competitors will be required to compete in the level they are currently at in Learn to Skate Program Session #1, January 5 - February 6 regardless if they move up a level for Session #2. 

The following only applies to Fiesta Skate competitors: Skater may enter the same level as the Fiesta Skate Competition (regardless of class level now). Skating on full ice will be permitted. The skater must demonstrate the required elements for this Team Competition. 


Cost per skater: 

$45 to enter
$12 optional practice ice
