Private Skating Lessons


Skaters looking for extra ice-time featuring one-on-one instruction to advance skill development can register for a private lesson with a member of the Ice Den coaching staff.  The coaching staff is a diverse group of individuals united by a common goal: to share their skating experience and passion for the sport with skaters of all ages and abilities.

Coaches available for private lessons are listed on our website where you can review experience, awards, philosophies and certifications to assist you with identifying the coach who best meets your requirements.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:

  • To participate in private lessons, skater's MUST OWN a pair of skates.  Rental skates are not available for private lesson use. 
  • Hockey Private Lessons are focused on skating skills only. No sticks or pucks permitted on sessions. For the safety of all participants, approved hockey gear/equipment is limited.  Review the specific sessions requirements prior to booking a lesson.
  • Private Lesson Hours vary daily based on designated freestyle ice and coach schedules.  Sessions are generally scheduled between 6:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m. weekdays, with limited weekend options.
  • For the safety of all coaches & skaters and to focus on skater/player development, Coach to Skater ratios for private lessons are: Hockey = 1:1 | Figure Skating (Youth & Adult) = 2:1
  • Group lessons are only offered during Learn to Skate Classes and select Specialty Classes as posted. No exceptions.

Coyotes Ice Sports, conveniently located inside the Ice Den, carries top figure and hockey skating brands including Risport, Jackson, CCM & Bauer for all levels beginner and up.

To schedule a private lesson, please submit a Private Lesson Request Form online and allow 72 hours for our staff to assist you with your request.

Please be advised that the response to your private lesson request MAY go to your email spam/junk folder (specifically G-mail accounts). Please be sure to check your spam folder for a message from the rink or your assigned coach regularly if you have not heard from the Ice Den after 72 hours.
